Service from Newszilla is offered as-is without
any guarantee as to fitness or suitability to your
purposes. By using our services you understand and agree
that there will be certain times in the judgment of our
staff and management that extraordinary circumstances
exist and service may be temporarily curtailed, degraded
or halted all together to resolve the situation. Any
service outages which are planned will be proceeded by a
customer notification of at least four hours. The method
of notification shall be e-mail to a customer
representative. Please contact customer.service@newszilla.com
to be added to the service notification list.
Hacking
The intentional violation of security measures we
have in place or engaging in activities typically know
as hacking or cracking shall be considered just cause
for the immediate termination of the customer account. No
refunds will be given to any customer engaged in hacking
or the harassment of others on the Internet at large
through Newszilla servers. A cleanup fee may be charged.
Spamming
The intentional act of excessive cross posting
articles ("Spam") to multiple groups, sending
out of unsolicited commercial advertising in the groups
or inappropriate behavior (excessive vulgarity,
threatening other users) posting of huge quantities of
off-topic messages are all examples of Spam. Any person
found to be disseminating Spam through our servers will
be subject to immediate cancellation of their account
with no refund.
Simultaneous Connections
The number of concurrent connections, which an
individual customer may have open is negotiated on a
case-by-case basis when ISPs or customer companies
sign-up for service with Newszilla.
Limitations
You may not originate messages to large numbers of
groups when the topic and content of the message does
not remotely match the group. Likewise messages for
moderated groups WILL go through the group moderator
first. No posts containing raw HTML code or code
designed to spawn multiple browser sessions are
permitted. Where possible, posting with obfuscated URLs
are likewise not permitted and will be killed.
Multiple Domains
Reselling of our service by you to another customer
of yours is prohibited without prior arrangements. If there are
multiple domains being operated within your Class Cs
(that are accessing news) where you aren't the
registrant, we feel this is reselling. You may resell
Newszilla feeds providing we have full information on
the customer (their class c addresses and domain names).
You will incur an additional charge per month (typically
a fee which is 10 to 25% over and above what you pay
us). You may then charge your customers whatever you
like. Failure to disclose the fact that you are
reselling can result in your account being terminated
with no refunds.
